There hasn't been a better time to invest in Detroit real estate.  People are calling me from all over the country to purchase foreclosure properties in Detroit, and why?  Because they can't buy in their own city or state for so little, and these are not the "no money down" buyers.  These are seasoned real estate investors with great credit, income, assets and experience.  The market has changed drastically over the past months, even more over the last few days but don't let the pessimists stop you.  As the adage goes...buy low and sell high (at least high-er), and don't forget long term gains, hold for the cash flow, etc.  It's the ones who see the opportunity who will look back and say, "boy, those were the days."  And then there are the locals and the big picture, more on that later.
